Which of the three is yours?
Over-ear, for a room you own
Five pairs between €268 and €1,140. The closed-backs seal for a shared office; the Polar One is open and needs a quiet room to be worth its price.

In-ear, for everywhere else
Four monitors between €96 and €239. All four ship with four tip sizes in silicone and two in foam, so the seal is a fitting job, not a gamble.

Desk, if a laptop is not enough
Three pieces between €520 and €980. Anything at 32 Ω runs off a phone; the Polar One at 300 Ω does not, and that is the whole reason the Vellum Amp exists.

Delivery, returns and what happens in year four.
Delivery
Two working days from the measurement passing, tracked the whole way. Free inside the EU over €120, €9 below that, €24 to the rest of the world. Kiruna to Berlin is usually three days door to door; to Lisbon, five.
Returns
Thirty days on an unworn pair, in its box, with the measurement card. We refund the item and the outbound delivery; the return label is €9 unless the pair arrived faulty, in which case it is ours.
Warranty and repairs
Five years of parts and labour on anything we built. Pads, headbands and cables stay in the drawer for ten. A pair we did not build gets re-cabled or re-padded for a flat €45 plus the part.

Will an over-ear pair fit my head?
Every over-ear headband adjusts between 150 mm and 195 mm, which covers roughly a 52 – 62 cm head. The earpad opening is 68 × 48 mm on the ES series and 72 × 52 mm on the Polar One. If your ear is larger than that, write to us before you order and we will send the deeper pad instead, at no charge.
Will my laptop or phone drive these?
Everything except the Polar One is between 16 Ω and 32 Ω and reaches a comfortable level from a phone. The Polar One is 300 Ω and will sound thin without an amplifier — that is what the Vellum Amp is for, and we will say so rather than sell you the pair alone.
What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Free inside the EU on orders over €120, €9 below that, and €24 worldwide. Orders leave within two working days of the measurement passing. Three days to Germany, four or five to southern Europe, seven to ten outside the EU including customs.
What is actually in the box?
An over-ear pair arrives with a 1.8 m cable, a 6.35 mm adapter, a felt case and the signed measurement card. An in-ear monitor arrives with four silicone tip sizes, two foam, a 1.2 m cable and the same card. Desk pieces come with a 1.5 m EU lead and a pair of RCA cables.
Can I change my mind after I have worn them?
Thirty days on an unworn pair gets a full refund including outbound delivery. A pair that has been listened to can come back for a different model at no cost within the same thirty days — we fit new pads and sell it on as a bench pair, which is the honest version of a trial.
Something is sold out. What then?
The card keeps its price and gives a date — the Polar One is back on 14 November. Join the waitlist and you get one email the morning the batch passes measurement, with a day to claim your place before it opens to everyone.
